Vivo city
i went to vivo on thurs(23 nov)...it was big(yes)
it has many shops(yes)
there were a lot of people(yes)
it was impressive(erm...only a bit...)
when i got there i was not really impressed with a 'WOW!this is a great place!' maybe i was not a fan of shopping for clothes but i really did not have an impressive feel about vivo...the designs are unique and nice, but...you noe...i really DO NOT have a wow-feel...unlike the harbour city in Hong Kong...The harbour city in Hong Kong really has a WOW! feel...when you've been to both places, you would noe what i mean...
the most impressive part of Vivo was their rooftop garden.
it was so beautiful and you could see sentosa's jetty!...the view there was great and beautiful...
haix...my family went there to buy a new tv because our's spoiled...we bought the newest sharp lcd and there were so many lucky draw coupons to fill up!then, i had to buy light sticks and searched the whole place and FINALLY found them(all 4o of them...they are for our choir camp)and spent$ 75 on the 40 light sticks!!! so much rite? i joked with Sharon that i went all the way to Vivo jus to buy light sticks...hahax, she was shocked!...but i told her the truth in the end...

i went on another holiday on 19 nov to 22 nov...hahahax, not to a very far place...to Genting.BUT, i had quite a pleasant voyage to Gennting...YES! My family took SuperStar Gemini to Port Klang and took a minibus up to Genting...

it was really a great ship!! pity i only had to spend one day onboard...the food is SUPERB and there are so many kinds of food...i would show the pics when i have time(i took all pics of the food we ate!!! hahax) and there was this cute pianist guy(i took a pic of him...hahax...and he knew!! he smiled at me...BUT ! I DO NOT HAVE A CRUSH ON HIM !!!) in the Ocean Palace(one of the ship's restaurant)....our cabin
had no windows because there was no cabin that can have 4 ppl in one room and has a window...but the cabin was very relaxing and nicely furnished...they even had CARTOON NETWORK on the TV!!! the service we got there was really class!! and after they clean up our cabin, they left 4 ferrero rocher on our beds!!!...ok...dun say too much le, or else become lyk mavis(jkjk^^) so jealous of me... :D we disembarked in Port Klang the next day ...2o nov to 22 nov...Genting...
we had a real nice room with a balcony that looks out to the valley(you could see the KL twin towers from there!!)the hotel we live in was Hotel Themepark...hahax...even for three stars, the view from the room was beautiful even though some of the room service and furnishes were bad...then, we went down to awana the next day...the place was quite relaxing...
the weather that 3 dayus we were there was VERY COLD!! all of us need to bundle up in pur jackets...anyway, this time i bought alot more things(some of which are really UNNESSARY, BUT I LOVE THEM...so, dun critisize can?)...i bought a cute sheep figurine on SuperStar Gemini...at Genting => one shirt at Cheetah, one feather keychain, one small hairclip(hahax)ermm...i think dats all^^

sand + rain= DISASTER!!
this shuld be written on saturday(11 nov)...but i have no time to write...on sat, i went to sentosa for my mum's family day...
haix...it was raining!!! and i thing i absolutely hate was rain and sand...mixed together!!!
we reached siloso beach at bout 3pm and the place was so crowded!!
partly was because the people attending were from the national healthcare group(TTSH, NUH, NHG, IMM...and someothers...)so there were alot of people...
we waited quite long for the minibus to bring us from the beach carpark to the beach...we could walk there, but we don't have enough umbrellas and it was raining...while we were waiting, we found that we were squeezed, my dad turned and found out that two people(1 uncle & 1 auntie) were trying to cut into the queue...my dad told them to move to the back and queue properly, but they said they were already there, before the malay family(but we saw, and knew that the malay family were originally right behind us...to think that that old couple could trick us!!!)so, my dad corrected them and that uncle shouted for awhile(ah!!ya!!! ha!!!...that's exactly wat that uncle said...)but both of them move to stand behind the malay family...then we found out(when we told them wat had happened) that the malay family let them queue behind us because they tot that that couple were our family!!hahahax....
wat a day!!
we had a not very nice time there, everything was so wet, glommy...but the performances were great...
there was one children stage and one main stage...i walked pass the children stage and they were playing a 'who-could-hold-their-breathe-longest'game...they were supposed to say ''NHG"in one breathe...but i don't know why some of the kids say'MSG'...hahahahaha...very cute, the kids...
at the end of the day...(it was still raining!!)we were not as moody as we were when we reached there...
hmmm...we got rid of the sand in our shoes at a water fountain...they had little spouts of water shooting out from the ground...we had a fun time getting rid of the sand as well as splashing the water at one another...furthermore, the water as warm(heated fromthe small lights placed ground the small water spouts) while our feet were cold...after that, we were sastified...it was fun... :)
anyways...we went back and onthe way, we passed by Vivo city!!! it was so big! and the design was so unique!...we actually want to go in and check the place out, as well as to look at some lcd tvs...but we don't have enugh time...so we decided to come back another time...
all in all, it was a fun day... ;)

today is the last day and we would be going at 2pm...after lunch...my dad had no meetings, so we went outside to take photos...the place was very beautiful...imagine, such a big place!!! i wud spare the details and show the pics...(but u need to wait, so be patient^-^)we had the rest of the time left for shopping...haix...i bought the least as i'm not a big fan on clothes(as u ppl noe xp)...i bought a piggy sling bag today...
my bro already bought his clothes on the first day...my mom also bought her clothes on the first day...
that left my dad who bought some clothes today...
haix...i saw a really nice fox t-shirt but i never buy it coz it was so see-thru...haix..T_T
for lunch, we went to eat timsum...the restuarant's timsum were excellent!!!
especially the xiao long bao!(the soup in them were so delicious!!)hmm...i saw someone @ the restuarant who looks lyk mr. matthew tan...but it was not him(hahax)anyway...with our stomachs full...we went back to pack our things and get ready to check out...
hahax...joshua showed off his pumas shoes when we were checking out of the hotel...
for the trip back, joshua came down with his mom(auntie rita-->dad's friend) to sit with us as there were still two places left for them...
then, me, my bro and joshua played cards again...imagine, playing cards like blackjack on a moving bus!!!...
i really enjoyed going to sunway lagoon and i am glad i was abled to enjoy all these things^-^...i wish i could go back again...

2nd day...saturday...4 nov 2006
...after a last night's long bowling session...we we dead beat...my dad went for a short meeting while joshua(my dad's friend's son) came up to our room to play cards(mwahahax)...we play for 3 hours straight coz there was nth for us to do...
joshua taught me and my bro a fun game called "indian poker"...each of us were supposed to pick a card and put it on our forehead without looking at it(the czard should face ur friends), then we wud take turns to sabo each other to pick a card from the deck so that we wud get a smaller card...it was very fun...
after lunch, joshua went to buy his puma shoes while my whole family went to the themepark...
the themepark was very big!!!
me and my bro played this prirate ship thingie that went 360 degrees around...it was quite fun but not very exciting becoz the ship went slowly not as fast as escape's prirate ship...(hahax...but we feel faint after a while when we got off the ride)...
my bro and dad went to play this water thingie that let u slide down on something from a high point and get their whole body wet...i vedioed the whole thing...it looked quite exciting and fun but i was stubborned in not to get so wet, so i did not go for the ride...
after that, we went to walk on the suspension bridge and the view from their was simply breathtaking...i would try to upload some pics when i have the time^^...
for dinner, the whole company took taxis and went to a seafood restuarant to eat...the place was so far! but it was a very nice restuarant...it was a single building and the decorations were very special. the interior was decorated with trees!! the whole effect was like u were outdoors(but u are not)...after the very sastifying dinner(i wont tell u bout the food or else...u might kill me out of jealousy!! hahax^^)...we went back to the hotel...on the way to the hotel, the place was beautifully lighted up ...haix...so beautiful...

day one...friday...3 nov 2006
we woke up at 5am...wash up and were on our way to golden mile complex at 6am...the whole company fitted nicely into a double decker bus(named "five stars")...we sat in the lower deck becoz there were no space to fit all four of us(me, my bro, my mom & my dad)
we reached pyramid hotel(where we stay) at bout 2pm...
1st impression was ->>"WOW!!!"
the hotel was so big...and kinda grand...however, we saw that the lounges' chairs and tables were made of plastic(it almost spoiled the hotel's 'grandness')...but then, the whole picture of the hotel was beautiful...
Our room was just right...for 2 people and i swear its the 2nd hotel that i had been to dat made me feel as comfortable lyk i am at home...i dare to lie in bathtub and sleep at night easily....but then, the hotel is 5 stars...what would u expect...hahax^^
anyway...the hotel's tiramisu was excellent!!! the cheesecake was okay...and the food was a wide variety...then, we were off to shopping(the hotel was connected to pyramid shopping mall!!!) while my dad went for his meeting.
i was overwhelmed and pleased with the shopping mall...as its name 'pyramid' suggested, the whole mall was designed with an Egyptian theme...outside, it was pyramid shaped and there was a huge sphinx- statue outside the mall...there were hierographs decorating the walls of the malls (inside and outside)...best of all, there were some of the famous egyptian gods pictured at the atm, buying things, carrying shopping bags decorated all ovewr the place...then, we found out that the basement were not decorated in that theme but in the normal shopping mall decoration(i think they found out that all these egyptian decorations took up alot of $$, so they stop decorating the rest of the mall in that order...hahax--no offense^^)...
...best of all, we saw one big ice-skating rink in the basement(lowest floor)and the view was quite nice. at night...evryone wud clear off the place and ice hockey wud take place!!

sunway lagoon
last friday to sunday, i was at sunway lagoon...my dad's company had a meeting there and they invited their families to go along.
well...there's so much seen, so much to tell, so, i think i would separate what i had seen into 3 posts.
