we woke up at 5am...wash up and were on our way to golden mile complex at 6am...
the whole company fitted nicely into a double decker bus(named "five stars")...we sat in the lower deck becoz there were no space to fit all four of us(me, my bro, my mom & my dad)
we reached pyramid hotel(where we stay) at bout 2pm...
1st impression was ->>"WOW!!!"
the hotel was so big...and kinda grand...however, we saw that the lounges' chairs and tables were made of plastic(it almost spoiled the hotel's 'grandness')...but then, the whole picture of the hotel was beautiful...
Our room was just right...for 2 people and i swear its the 2nd hotel that i had been to dat made me feel as comfortable lyk i am at home...i dare to lie in bathtub and sleep at night easily....but then, the hotel is 5 stars...what would u expect...hahax^^
anyway...the hotel's tiramisu was excellent!!! the cheesecake was okay...and the food was a wide variety...then, we were off to shopping(the hotel was connected to pyramid shopping mall!!!) while my dad went for his meeting.
i was overwhelmed and pleased with the shopping mall...as its name 'pyramid' suggested, the whole mall was designed with an Egyptian theme...outside, it was pyramid shaped and there was a huge sphinx- statue outside the mall...there were hierographs decorating the walls of the malls (inside and outside)...best of all, there were some of the famous egyptian gods pictured at the atm, buying things, carrying shopping bags decorated all ovewr the place...then, we found out that the basement were not decorated in that theme but in the normal shopping mall decoration(i think they found out that all these egyptian decorations took up alot of $$, so they stop decorating the rest of the mall in that order...hahax--no offense^^)...
...best of all, we saw one big ice-skating rink in the basement(lowest floor)and the view was quite nice. at night...evryone wud clear off the place and ice hockey wud take place!!
